After the documents are Apostilled by the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, only then can the documents be forwarded for Consular Legislation

Important Information

  • If any pages within a document are blank, a line needs to be drawn thorough with a note mentioning that they have been intentionally left blank
  • Ribboning is required if your document consists of multiple pages;
  • A letter addressed to the Chinese Embassy outlining the reason for legalisation is required;
  • Photocopy of each document required for the Chinese Embassy’s records
